Caribbean Labour Solidarity has been invited to participate and join in helping to organise the march and rally for the 90 th anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street at 12 noon on the 4 th October 2026, details below.
This is new territory for us and we will need need your help.
As with other marches and rallies our presence has an effect. On this occasion Luke, our President, has already set about making a banner relevant to the attack on the Jewish residents of Cable Street and the attack on minorities now.
We will also have a louder voice with our mobile speaker blasting out messages of solidarity and music of resistance. Please load all your powerful tunes onto your smartphone for the 4th.
Schedule.
- Assemble at noon outside Tower Hamlets Town Hall, 160 Whitechapel
Rd, London E1 1BJ (Nearest Tube: Whitechapel). - March Start at 1pm from the Town Hall toward Cable Street.
- Rally at 2pm in St George’s Gardens, featuring guest speakers, live
music and poetry.
