The CARICOM Reparations Commission recently sent a delegation to Britain to further the campaign for Reparations for African Enslavement.
CLS executive members attended a “Dialogue on Reparatory Justice” with the Caricom Reparations Commission. We heard that CARICOM is preparing an updated version of the 10 point plan, which will take the form of a manifesto. There are also developments in the partnership of CARICOM with the African Union. members of the CLS Executive will give a full report to the meeting.

CLS is preparing to publish a new pamphlet entitled “Why Reparations for African Enslavement is a Social Justice Issue for Everyone“. the authors of this pamphlet will introduce it at the meeting.
