Jeremy Corbyn

Jeremy became MP for Islington North in 1983.
Previously he had been a local councillor in Haringey and part of the London left on the London Regional Executive of the Labour Party, supporting the GLC and local councils to provide services for the whole range of London communities.
On leaving school he volunteered in Jamaica and has travelled widely in South America.
