Our June meeting discussed these initiatives as well as looking at important elections in South Africa, Mexico and India.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0Rx3YTmSf-I?si=IvGgUqOKiGyweFc9&amp;start=5\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jeremy Corbyn and Diane Abbott have long been our friends and comrades, but they have been treated outrageously by the Labour Party bureaucracy.<\/li>\n<li>There are many independent socialists standing, including\u00a0Andrew Feinstein, former ANC\u00a0Member of the South African National Assembly.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<em>Communist Party of Britain<\/em>\u00a0(CPB) and the\u00a0<em>Trade Union and Socialist Coalition<\/em>\u00a0(TUSC) will be fielding candidates.<\/li>\n<li>Our friends and comrades in Dorset are organising against Richard Drax MP, who still owns a plantation in Barbados &#8211; they will be highlighting this link to enslavement and foregrounding the fight for Reparations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Caribbean Labour Solidarity executive believes that we can use this opportunity to campaign for Reparations, for justice for Palestine, for workers&#8217; rights and against racism.
